Display Omniscope graphics

These graphics are available for use on your web site or in your printed material provided you follow the directions below and the presentation is of a positive nature. Direct links to our home page should be available alongside the material when used online.

Click on the images below to download an Omniscope image catalogue that is smaller than a zipped folder of images, yet can contain vastly more information. Using Omniscope, you can filter and select images from the catalogue file, placing those you wish to use in the Basket. When you have all the images you wish to use in the Basket, you can open the Basket and export the images to a new folder for re-use. Full instructions are included below and in the Help screen in the file.

Open the Omniscope image catalogue .IOK file and use the various views and filtering modes, including visual selection from the Tile View, to add selected images to the Basket using the Add to basket command on the far right of all View Toolbars. Once you have selected all the images files you want, open the Basket and from the View Tools menu, choose Export this views data: This will open the data Export wizard. Select the Images tab and you will see this:

Make sure the Records selected are those in the Basket, then tick 'Image' to indicate the image set you wish to export to a new folder. Once you have completed exporting only the selected images, compare browsing and selecting images in Omniscope with downloading all the images in a single zipped folder.

Note: images in our collection with transparent backgrounds are provided in transparent PNG format, which is not correctly rendered on Microsoft Internet Explorer and should not be used in this format on web pages. In general, we recommend the .GIF format for use in web pages. Please do not distort images, preserve the exact image aspect ratio. For web site material, use the logo at the existing size. You may downscale if necessary, but ensure no jagged edges are visible and the image is smooth in appearance.

Omniscope download buttons

Place the free Viewer download buttons alongside any IOK file links on your website to allow visitors quick access to the Omniscope free Viewer download page. If you are providing Web Edition Web Start no-installation files, use the button to provide a visual cue to download the file.

Icons for .IOK/.IOM file downloads

If you publish links to .IOK/.IOM files, you should display file icon images next to the file link to provide a visual cue as to the content of the link, like this:  Download Omniscope Graphics catalogue.
